EPL: Chelsea Manager Sends Strong Message To Chelsea Board Over Fabregas Replacement.

Chelsea coach and manager, Maurizio Sarri has sent a message to Chelsea board saying that he was still “waiting” for the blues to sign a new midfielder following the departure of Cesc Fabregas.

Chelsea who were very close to signing Argentine midfielder, Leandro Paredes from Zenit Saint Petersburg before the player signed for Paris Saint-Germain for £35million on Monday 28th of January, 2019.

Fabregas left Chelsea to join Ligue 1 side, Monaco few days ago, but Maurizio Sarri said Chelsea required a replacement for the Spainaird.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth,
Maurizio said: “I thought it was important for us to have two players [arrive]. One has arrived and I am waiting for the other, Metro UK reports.

“If he arrives I will be very happy, if not I will have to work with these players which isn’t a problem.

“[Ethan] Ampadu didn’t perform very well in that position but he is very young and it’s a new position. It’s not easy to play in that position precisely.
